The ACTON INSTITUTE  a leading international educational organization is seeking a highly professional Receptionist to provide administrative front desk office support for a professional global organization.  In this specialized position you will politely and quietly greet and receive guests; operate a multi-phone line to properly field incoming calls and inquiries; responsibly administer mail and priority shipments; maintain the lobby, café, kitchens and conference rooms in showroom condition and keep well stocked at all times; assist with setting up and promptly clearing meeting rooms for guest services; maintain lobby security and the reception log; order office and kitchen equipment and supplies in a timely manner; and other support duties as assigned.

The right candidate for this position will ensure a highly professional and smooth running guest service and receptionist environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a successful professional decorum and excellent communication skills to deliver excellent customer service at all times.

For the right candidate with high initiative, as a professional Receptionist you will also have the opportunity to grow in this role and assist with other tasks such as, scheduling meetings, maintaining professional office files, assisting with volunteer and new hire orientation and training, and providing administrative support for various deadline driven tasks and other projects or administrative tasks as assigned.

Preferred candidates will possess:
 Associates Degree or higher.
 2+ years’ experience as a professional administrative assistant or receptionist in a professional office       environment.
 Professional decorum at all times, in speech, dress and manner.
 Sound judgement and will maintain confidential and sensitive material in a professional manner.
 Excellent attention to detail and follow through.
 Ability to organize and maintain office files.
 Professional appearance and will keep desk and office area neat and clean at all times.
 Proficient with phone support, computer skills, MS Outlook, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
 Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
 Excellent written and oral communication skills.
 A strong initiative with a can-do spirit, and will go the extra mile to see tasks through.
 Ability to be proficient in administrative software programs.
